SI2 Clarity

Good Inclusions

  1. Small inclusions – Not immediately noticeable to the observer.
  2. White – Does not disrupt the natural color of the diamond.
  3. Well located – The inclusion is hidden from view at the bottom or the sides.

Bad Inclusions

  1. Large – Easily seen when looking at the diamond
  2. Dark – Interferes with the natural color of the diamond and may appear grey or black
  3. Badly located – Very visible when looking at the diamond, usually located on the surface.
